Kiss the Devil Goodbye

Mad. I wrote this one out when I was truly mad, angry, furious!
Have you ever had someone to love but then, he betrayed you? 


Kiss the devil goodbye, 
For he had made you cry, 
And every word spoken was a twisted lie, 
He stabbed your heart with a dagger, 
There goes a page of one chapter, 
Covered by his sinful acts written in anger. 

Kiss the devil goodbye, 
For he had sworn to give the love, 
Embrace his wings like a dove, 
Made you fly slightly above, 
A promised stay to ease the lonely, 
Behind you he hid a different story. 

Kiss the devil goodbye, 
For he had locked you in a cage, 
Trapped you with an air of rage, 
As you see the great actor bowed on stage, 
Upon his twisted performance, what a trick! 
Realizing everything was just so sick. 

Never again shall you return, 
To that devil in-disguise you should burn, 
Don’t let your story end with a sigh, 
So enough said, just kiss him goodbye!
