Sirens

Heartless is one thing but getting even is another story. Perhaps, you shouldn't give hopes to someone you wish to say goodbye to, at the first place.

Here's a story to tell about Mermaids ..no, Sirens. They're called Sirens.

We call out to the men who can't resist to our songs. And so shall we bring destruction to them like the sirens, luring in the careless and the foolish with our enchanting voice while mesmerizing them to their death with such beauty.

Why the evilness? If you have to wonder.

Only because we were once in love with charming men who lives up on shore and how deadly it was to crave for them, cursed by the sea witch as our voice was the price to pay for love. We gave our hearts away but in the end, their hearts were for another.

Hopelessly, we returned to the sea by sunset with tainted hearts and a promise to oneself was made. Never again shall we be devoted to love and so we create countless shipwrecks for them to suffer, never again shall we lose our voice for it will be a weapon to drown them in our love.

We are the sirens whom you should be petrified before passing by, causing fatal chaos in the sea you set sailed in. We are cold-hearted and cruel, the temptresses of the sea, crashing waves and eating out hearts of the dreamers who wish to win us, without realizing, they are of the same kind who turned us into heartless creatures.

And so shall we sing and sing our hearts out to make them fall deeply and alas, letting them feel what is like to hold onto a hope for something that was not even there from the start.
