The Little Mermaid

Have you heard of the original mermaid tale? I was like the little mermaid who sacrificed herself for the sake of the prince's happiness to be with his beautiful maiden.


Kiss you to be mine I so would, 
Shall drown you in misery if I could. 

You and me, we met for a reason, 
But you and her was the other reason. 

Without her knowing, without feeling sorry, 
You came to me when you feel rather lonely. 

You joked and I laughed. 
I cried and you sighed. 

We share stories to one another, 
As everyone could not bother. 

And we bid goodnight every single night, 
To start again whenever it seemed right. 

Until one day, you told me to save you, 
Choice was to be made, "Should I choose her or you?" 

I wanted to save you but I just couldn't, 
To ruin someone's happiness, so I shouldn't. 

I came uninvited but welcomed by you, 
You should have said, "I want you" ..instead of asking to make us true.
