Book Unfinished Part II

Why wait for the ending when you can write one? You're the author of your book of life, write it down to read it. On that very last written page, I stopped to think of the what ifs and should haves, pondering on ways to keep moving forward, on how to keep reading even though the pages are empty. And then my fingers started to dance --reaching for the only tool to make the book alive again; a pen. "What are you doing?" Somehow a voice so familiar resonant in my head. And so, I smiled back in return with a garden of bliss growing inside of my heart. "I'm writing down my own happy ending." I began writing to continue the unwritten story with a whimsical tale of a girl who once had her heart broken but she was no longer in vain as my fingers ran across the pages --writing down laughter instead of tears, a pleasant solo ride instead of a complicated pair, friends instead of lovers, the treasured moments instead of the missed person, undying self love ...

The Waiting Game

He should know that I'll always be here --not waiting but hoping that if he ever comes back, my heart still beats for him. They say --good things come to those who wait. But then, I wonder why should I wait? Waiting for you is heartbreaking, Waiting for you is time-consuming, Waiting for you is draining me, Waiting for you is closing my heart for another, And I don't want that. Because waiting for you is like wishing on a shooting star that is long dead since you're like a sweet dream of mine that will never come true. If waiting means forever then maybe I should just give up and hand my heart to those who actually played the waiting game like me.

Cinderella

Cinderella inspired me a lot. I had a thought that maybe my life would turn out like hers, someday?  If the slipper fits, Then why am I running? Away from people, away from him? If the slipper fits, Then why do I keep dreaming? About the ball, about the prince charming. If the slipper fits, Then why can't I stop dancing? To a waltz, to a magical feeling. If the slipper fits, Then why am I still waiting? Take the glass slipper, take it to him. If the slipper fits, Then perhaps I should start singing? On my way to his castle, to my happy ending.

Book Unfinished

Love at first sight could be fatal. I never believed in it until I met him, the one who tricked me by his first impression. How is it like to be in love with him?  It was like reading and he was the book.  The Cover was his look, a beautiful  one that caught my attention immediately.  The Prologue was our first meeting, we  talked and got to know each other quickly, letting me know the summary of his life.  The Rising Action was where it all started, as our friendship blooms into a sweet romance.  The Climax was the countless moments shared between us, bittersweet memories were made.  The Falling Action was when he left, without believing there’s hope and giving us that one last chance.  But the Epilogue was never being read and the ending was hanging.  How unfortunate it is that I never had the chance to finish the book.

Sirens

Heartless is one thing but getting even is another story.  Perhaps, you shouldn't give hopes to someone you wish to say goodbye to, at the first place. Here's a story to tell about Mermaids ..no, Sirens. They're called Sirens. We call out to the men who can't resist to our songs. And so shall we bring destruction to them like the sirens, luring in the careless and the foolish with our enchanting voice while mesmerizing them to their death with such beauty.  Why the evilness? If you have to wonder.  Only because we were once in love with charming men who lives up on shore and how deadly it was to crave for them, cursed by the sea witch as our voice was the price to pay for love. We gave our hearts away but in the end, their hearts were for another.  Hopelessly, we returned to the sea by sunset with tainted hearts and a promise to oneself was made. Never again shall we be devoted to love and so we create countless shipwrecks for them to suffer, n...

Art of Life

Life hasn't always been good.  I remember it was a tough year and I was on the verge of giving up everything. And somehow I've managed to write this one out to boost up my spirit --to keep on living whilst having hopes for the better. What is life? Life is only given once, Not twice, not thrice. It’s when your soul travels to the real world, To make good deeds in every way, At the precise time of night and day. But what is life, really? Life is something that you cannot borrow, Cheers of happiness, bleeds with sorrow, The lane will sometimes wide, sometimes narrow, For one should never give up, Or lost ways to make it for tomorrow. Life will teach you a lesson, Once you begin to chase for that one true passion, And when failure has come to assist, Stay strong with whatever lies in front, Look back for what you have missed, Take it as an experience, would you at least? Life is about making everything right again, After all those ...
